What Delicate Recordings was formed in 2007 in order to release two albums: “Sookie Jump” by Eldridge Skell’s The Rude Staircase. The label was founded by Andrew Becker (drummer for the Dischord Records’ band Medications, Brooklyn outfit Screens and the songwriter behind Human Potential) and L. Skell (The Rude Staircase’s songwriter and producer), who met in Washington, DC.

Today, the two run label operations from New York City and Ulan Bator, respectively. They will continue to pursue the release of unique music they feel deserves to be heard.
